In honor of World Sight Day (Oct. 9th), L'Occitane introduces their annual solidarity soap. Complete with Braille on the bar, this Apricot-scented $3.00 soap is a limited edition item whose proceeds benefit NGO’s working to cure preventable blindness. 100% of the profits from sales, will finance NGO's like Sight Savers, Light for the World, Vision Aid Overseas, Medicus Mundi and other eye health products in developing countries. In 2013, over $200,000 was raised to launch projects to helping the blind.
L'Occitane is partnering with the American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) to showcase a month-long exhibit in NYC, to celebrate the life of Helen Keller, titled "Helen Keller: Journey Through the Senses."
