As a curl~gurl, I love trying many different curl care products, learning about the formulas and how they came to be. I was especially intrigued when Camille Rose Naturals founder Janell Stephens held an intimate round-table discussion in January, where she explained how she started whipping up recipes to care for her natural hair in her very own kitchen! Janelle took her passion for her natural hair care and packaged it. Today, her amazing hair care line is available at Target, Whole Foods, Walgreen's and Bed Bath & Beyond!

After the press event, I took home a generous tote bag containing an apron (remember how she created "hair recipes in her own kitchen) and products from the Camille Rose Naturals line - both hair and skincare. I love all of the product and my favorite is the Curl Maker ($22.00 12.oz pump - defining jelly enriched with smoothing marshmallow and agave extract...smells yummy!)

Sweet Ginger Cleansing Rinse ($11.00 - 12 oz.) An enlivening hair cleanser for maximum moisture retention. With natural notes of sweet ginger and lemon peel, this gentle cleansing rinse hydrates and protects the hair with its sulfate, silicone and paraben-free formulation. Gourmet Ingredients: Ginger root and aniseed oil.

Fresh Curl Revitalizing Hair Smoother ($14.00 - 8 oz.) Revitalizing hair smoother, serves as a light gel cream, styling lotion and detangler all in one. With an uplifting aroma of peach guava, this creamy emollient quenches tangled and moisture-craved curls. This daily styling lotion transform dull, lifeless hair into soft, shiny strands. Curl Love Moisture Milk ($15.00 - 8 oz.) Formulated with rice milk, which are rich in vitamins A, D and B12; Macadamia, Castor and Avocado oils are poured in the blend to nurture your tresses and aid in preventing breakage and styling damage. Your hair will have long-lasting moisture, softness and definition.

*Curl Maker ($22.00 - 12 oz.) Sweet defining jelly, enriched with smoothing marshmallow and agave extracts. This luxurious, yet unique concoction deeply defines for shiny, manageable curls. Perfect for wash-and-go styling, Curl Maker gives hair the beautiful bounce that every curl and coil loves! Gourmet Ingredients: Marshmallow Root, Aloe Juices and Nettle Root. 

Almond Jai Twisting Butter ($16.99 - 8 oz.) A supremely  soft styling butter, with an indulgent nutty aroma, crafted to nourish and elongate the hair. This botanical blend will tame wild tresses, leaving them soft and smooth. Formulated with rich butters and oils, this twisting butter softens and moisturizes hair, while nourishing the scalp and stimulating growth. Gourmet Ingredients: Almond, Aloe and Honey.
