Last night's CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund Award Runner-Up Eva Zuckerman, of Eva Fehren and TEMPTU, the brand that pioneered temporary tattoos for the film and television industry over 30 years ago, have partnered to create a limited edition TEMPTU X Eva Fehren Artist Collective Tattoo Set and TEMPTU X Eva Fehren Precious Metallic Palette, a professional body art color palette, that launches this month, November 2014.

The Eva Fehren fine jewelry collection highlights the beauty of contrasting elements that marry a delicate, feminine aesthetic with rawness that give the structural pieces an element of modern edginess. Eva Zuckerman, the artist and designer behind Eva Fehren, was not only drawn to TEMPTU as a new avenue to exert her creative energy, but she also has a family tie that links her to the brand’s heritage, and specifically TEMPTU Dura Body Art. Eva’s grandfather, Dr. Samuel Zuckerman, is the famed chemist who developed Dura paint, the alcohol-based makeup formula that is heat-resistant, sweat-resistant, long-lasting, skin-safe ink engineered to withstand the conditions on set for productions. He worked with Eva’s father, Roy Zuckerman, to develop a way in which one could transfer the Dura paint, ultimately offering the temporary tattoo effect.

With this product at his fingertips, Roy successfully launched TEMPTU in the early 1980s. At the inception of TEMPTU, it was very much a family run business – an environment that helped to nurture Eva’s innate creativity as well as her entrepreneurial spirit, which is why the designer is excited to collaborate with the company now.

TEMPTU Pro Dura made its film debut in the film Tattoo starring Bruce Dern and Maude Adams – the brand has been the industry standard and innovator for body art ever since, and continues to grow and develop.

Taking inspiration from the minimalistic simplicity of her fine jewelry collection, this palette celebrates the rich hues of precious metals (including: gold, gunmetal, silver, rose, copper, black, white, grey, green, blue) that can create the look of bejeweled opulence with a stroke of a brush. Developed for professionals, each palette is triple poured with TEMPTU’s renowned Dura liquid formula.
