Every New York Fashion Week, Nordstrom goes backstage to assess the biggest beauty trends and then brings this intel direct to their customers. For the Spring 2018 season, they’ve identified trends such as Luminous Skin and Hi-Definition Lips.

Dolce&Gabbana DOLCE GARDEN, A joyful, solar aura blending citrus and cream. A new flower: the luscious frangipani blossom. With Dolce Garden – a floriental gourmand – the perfumer Violaine Collas captures its every nuance. In the sun-kissed top notes, juicy mandarin, bright neroli and airy magnolia express its radiance. Coconut essence, a unique natural extract of the fruit’s white flesh, accents the creamy freshness of its petals. A silky almond milk accord evokes the traditional sweets of Sicily. Enriched with vanilla absolute and sandalwood, it extends the exquisite sensuality of the frangipani note into the drydown. An exquisite balance of freshness and sweetness, the scents of a blooming garden. 

THE PACKAGING: To express the playful femininity of Dolce Garden, the unique designed bottle, the fragrance and flower cap take on a pastel pink portraying the innate delicatessen of flowers in bloom. Twining blossoms petals, the outer pack showcases a soft touch finish. A thin black grosgrain ribbon, presented in an elegant bow, is the signature of the Dolce line. In contrast, the green “garden” signature underlines the fresh, natural facets of the new fragrance.

Now before you disagree that sleep masks are comfortable (a few pals have argued, so if yours isn't, then you definitely have a cheap one) a good mask will not dig into your eyes and should never feel tight behind the ears. Just light pressure on your eyelids, which in my opinion reduce eye movement while you sleep, thus helping you wake up rested and will less puffiness.

It's always all about the hair with me, so hair towels and turbans are just as important as the products I use to wash and style my hair with. I have been using AQUIS turbans over 20 years (yes, Aquis has been around that long, little over 25 years and sold at Bed Bath & Beyond under the name Britanne - confirmed to me directly from the brand). It's where I purchased my first one in 1996 while I worked there, which I still have (beyond tattered for a pic.Trust me). #AquisHair

First I received the Aquis Waffle Luxe Hair Turban in dream boat blue ($40) from PR reps and then the brand reached out directly sending me the LISSE Luxe Hair Turban ($30) and long hair towel ($35), explaining that LISSE is actually better for curly hair. They were right. See, for years many curl brands have advised against the use of hair turbans to dry curly hair. Why? Well, it creates more frizz and can break your hair. I upset many when I say that "I wash my hair everyday" - but I do, sorry. Have done so over 30 years and my hair is fine.
