2. Deborah applied one coat of Naked ($17), a sheer clean bare beige lacquer
3. Then, Deborah applied a second coat of Diamonds And Pearls ($17), an iridescent fresh water pearl sheer shimmer.
4. To complete, Deborah used on layer of Gel Lab Top Coat
Larry started Lupita’s glam look by liberally applying Smooth ‘N Shine Go Pro Curls Curl-Licious Mist to refresh and reactivate her natural curls.
Next, Larry used a rat tail comb to insert a dramatic deep side part on the right side of her head. He then took the part back to the crown of Lupita’s head and combed her hair to each side.
After the dramatic part was put in place, Larry then used Smooth ‘N Shine Go Pro Curls Butter Bouncin’ to hydrate Lupita’s hair to give it an easy moldable texture.
For a finishing touch, Larry used got2b 2sexy voluptuous volume hairspray to keep her tresses in place through a long night of Golden Globe after parties.
Michelle Dockery, Hair by Davines |
After seeing Michelle’s gorgeous embroidered cream-colored Oscar de la Renta gown, Sascha chose to keep the hair modern with a looser, more playful, and slightly disheveled take on the often-rigidly Edwardian styles she wears as Lady Mary.
Here is how the look was created:
1. Sascha applied Davines More Inside This is a Sea Salt Spray to the root area of her towel-dried hair, and blow-dried it using a round brush to create the perfect foundation and loose volume that this style needs.
2. Once Michelle’s hair was completely dry, Sascha divided it into smaller sub sections (roughly 1 inch) and curled each section individually, starting from the back. “For those recreating the look, I recommend using a 1 or 1 1/2-inch curling iron that lets you adjust the temperature to the needs of your hair and works on a low / medium heat setting,” said Sascha.
3. He then worked his way through the hair, curling in horizontal sections.
4. Applying a small drop of Davines More Inside This is An Invisible Serum, Sascha broke up the curls and left a few loose strands around the face to create a slightly messy texture and “lived in,” unforced feeling.
5.Once the hair had the right shape and texture, Sascha misted the look with Davines More Inside This is a Medium Hairspray to keep the style flexible. “This hairspray is great because it also adds lots of shine and extreme bounce,” comments Sascha.

Kate Beckinsale’s Red Carpet hair look created by Celebrity Hairstylist, Sascha Breuer using Moroccanoil. Sascha gave the beauty an edgy style to complement her Zuhair Murad gown while presenting Best Original Song to Bono.
Overall Inspiration: “With her wholesome, English rose good looks, Kate can get away with quite a bit of edginess in her hairstyle, so we went with a punk-inspired diva look that’s a bit different from her usual soft flowing waves.”
Hair Prep/Style:
Start by spraying Moroccanoil Root Boost directly on to the roots of damp hair. The spray will help add body and hold and it’s a great way to set the style in. It’ll also make hair more pliable and easier to work with.
Start blow drying your hair using a skeleton brush; use your fingers to create texture and additional volume. Once the hair is fully dry, separate into a horseshoe shaped section (the part between both temples & your crown area) and clip the top section away.
Pull the bottom section into a low, side ponytail at the nape of the neck and secure with an elastic. Then coil & wrap the tail into a messy bun. You can even tug a few strands out to create naturally falling bits and to loosen the bun. Secure it with bobby pins.
Take the hair from the top section and backcomb the roots using Moroccanoil Boar Bristle Teasing Brush to maximize the volume at the crown and create a slightly disheveled texture.
Secure the top section into the existing, loose bun with bobby pins.
Finishing Touches:
Mist the hair with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray to add shine and long-lasting hold. Spray a little on finger tips and work it into the single strands to help define. Secure the final look with a few more pins. You’re good to go!
