Here are five new products from a brand trusted for years for scars and healing: Mederma® AG (formerly Aqua Glycolic). This Advanced Dry Skin Therapy line for face and body, provides the exfoliating benefits of glycolic acid in a gentle, pH balanced cleansing and moisturizing system. Also hypoallergenic, fragrance-free and soap free, resulting in minimum irritation from head to toe. Best of all, they're non-comedogenic and dermatologist recommended (always my fave).

Product Line:

Mederma® AG Facial Cleanser (6 fl. oz., $17.55) is gentle, non-drying and compatible with all skin types. It can also be used for shaving sensitive areas such as the bikini line, face and underarms.

 

Directions:

• For cleansing: Apply a moderate amount of cleanser to dry skin area, and massage. Add water, massage again and then rinse. 

• For shaving: Wet skin and apply a moderate amount, and massage gently. Wait for 10 seconds and shave as usual. 

Mederma® AG Facial Toner (16 oz., $17.55) thoroughly cleans oily or problem-prone skin, leaving skin free of excess oil, dirt and makeup. With continued use, your skin will have a smooth texture & healthy complexion. Also, contains eucalyptus oil for a cooling, tingling effect. 

Directions: Twist to unlock top. Place cotton ball on top and press down to dispense. Apply toner with a cotton ball to cleanse all oily areas. Initially, apply once daily. If no irritation occurs, application can be increased to twice daily. 

Mederma® AG Face Cream (2 oz., $22.47) gently removes the dead skin cells from rough, dry, sun-damaged skin; smoothes the appearance of fine lines and imperfections; and helps maintain proper moisture balance. Also, contains hyaluronic acid known to help skin retain moisture and plump the appearance of aging skin. 

Directions: Initially, apply once daily. If there is no irritation, application can be increased to twice daily. 

Mederma® AG Body Cleanser (8 fl. oz., $16.45) is an excellent all-over body cleanser and exfoliant that also helps to maintain skin’s natural moisture balance. 

Directions: Apply liberally to all areas of the body, lather and rinse thoroughly. 

Mederma® AG Hand & Body Lotion (6 fl. oz., $23.65) removes dead skin cells from rough, dry, sun-damaged skin and helps maintain skin’s moisture balance. Continued use will reveal soft, smooth skin with a healthy glow.

Directions: Initially, apply once daily. If there is no irritation, application can be increased to twice daily.
