HAIR/MAKE-UP: AVEDA - NAILS: THE NAIL BOUTIQUE
Project Runway Alum Michael Costello's Fall/Winter 2014 Fashion Show was sponsored by Brooklyn based The Nail Boutique, with hair and makeup led by AVEDA. I had the pleasure to join the teams backstage prior to the runway show, for the upcoming fall 2014 collections.

HAIR: Aveda lead hair styilist Matt Smith led the Aveda team. Soft waves were created with AVEDA'S Control Force Firm Hold Hairspray using large curling wands. Curls were then brushed out to create bouncy waves, hair parted teased at the roots, creating a voluminous bump at the crown - secured with pins.
MAKEUP: AVEDA'S Anna Conte led the makeup team, who channeled the ’60s era by creating a luxe lined cat eye with shimmer. Products used by the AVEDA team were:
Skin - Inner Light Dual Foundation. Eyes: blend of shimmering nudes, lined with Petal Essence Eye Definer and finished with 2 coats of Mosscara™. Lips: Lipstick was skipped, with the team opting for a bit of concealer dabbed on the lips, topped with Honey Tree Lip Glaze.
