Backstage ALON LIVNE F/W 2014: Per-fékt Beauty, 

CATWALK by TIGI & China Glaze

Your Curl~Gurl is busy compiling the BEST from last weeks EPIC NYFW. Nothing beats being backstage, chatting with models and even the designer. In true Evelyn form, I took HUNDREDS of pictures from hair, beauty, nails and of course: FIRST LOOKS! Lets take a look: 

Alon Livne Make-Up Chart

Make-up by Per-fekt Beauty -  Per-fékt Beauty’s experts led by Founder Richard Anderson created a natural look that enhanced each model’s beauty to compliment the powerful and glamorous 1920’s inspired collection. Prior to make-up application Mario Badescu products were used to clean and prep the model's skin was kept natural with a healthy glow and contoured cheeks. A strong, defined brow and perfectly nude lips finished the look.

Hair: CATWALK by TIGI - TIGI Global Creative Director Nick Irwin created a chic, polished look, with a modern sophistication that complimented the elegant feel of Alon Livne's A/W2014 collection. The hair inspiration was feminine and delicate with a 1920's theme throughout. Envisioned was a clean, short look, with symmetrical line and high shine. 

Overall look: Chic and polished low bun, with a deep center part. 

Get the look: 

1. Create a deep center part at the top of the head and brush through . Cross-section the hair at the nape and clip away remaining hair. Lightly spray CATWALK by TIGI Your Highness Weightless Shine Spray on section and flat iron hair bone straight. Brush through with a fine tooth comb.
2. Continue this moving upwards in sections to the top of the crown, maintaining the center part. Repeat this through the top section of the head by smoothing hair sections on either side of the part, down past the temple and around behind the ears. 
3. Next, spray CATWALK by TIGI Session Series Finishing Spray and smooth hair with a flat brush. Pull hair into a low pontytail at the base of the nape and secure with an elastic. 
4. Then, apply a small amount of CATWALK by TIGI Curlesque Strong Hold Mousse to the ponytail and twist through ends. Wrap ponytail around to create a bun, secure tight to the head with pins. 
5. Clean up any fly-aways with a fine-tooth comb and set with CATWALK by TIGI Session Series Finishing Spray.
