Thrive Causemetics NYFW

Double The Fun with Thrive Causemetics:
Thrive Lab & NYFW

I love it when I get to mix my passions of products and fashion. I simply cannot forget the amazing time I had with Thrive Causemetics founder Karissa Bodnar during NYFW last month, with two amazing events the same day: a blogger lunch where I played mad-scientist in the Thrive Lab, followed by an evening NYFW event. #BeautyWithAPurpose

We created our very own make-up remover with Thrive Causemetics

For the lab event, lunch was provided by celebrity chef Maria Marlowe, as Karissa shared her Thrive lab with us, giving us the opportunity to create our own Thrive formulation. We were provided beakers of antioxidant or anti-aging to use as our main ingredient, so I decided to mix and use both! We also got a sneek peek at the new Thrive Causemetics products launching this spring. ICYMI, see my last post for Thrive here

So focused on my formula!

Later that evening, Thrive Causemetics hosted their first-ever official NYFW runway show with a 100% focus on beauty. In case you were wondering about the fashions, all the models were wearing robes since it was about the beauty looks and of course a lot of lashes, the best part! Now here is the best part about this truly amazing brand, in keeping with the spirit of their core concept, this Thrive NYFW event was also a give back initiative.

All attendees wrote a personalized note of encouragement, with each note sent with a Thrive Causemetics Gift to a woman going through treatment at Sloan-Kettering. The total donation was valued at over $25,000, way to go Karissa!
