"It's all about the hair", so if hair is involved, I'm there - sprained ankle and all (you'll see the pain on my face in a few.) Mishap aside, when I attended the amazing press event for the launch of Tara Smith's new haircare collection back in June, I was not expecting to see such gorgeous packaging and equally outstanding products - including curl~care!

The fab and fierce hairstylist known for styling the locks of the elite like: Rosario Dawson, Demi Moore, and Marisa Tomei (to name a few), Tara Smith launched an amazing haircare range free from toxins, harsh chemicals, and that also happen to be ethical, cruelty and gluten-free. Tara Smith Haircare Products are amazing, botanically-infused and must-have staples to de-stress your tresses!

The event itself was amazing: hair consultations and styling, meditation lessons by Tara's personal life-coach and customized dream-catchers, courtesy of SpokeWoven.com (I went with royal blue) and of course, no event is complete without a round of selfies:

So how does this curl~gurl love Tara Smith's Working Curls shampoo and conditioner? ($16 each) HAIR HEAVEN! My curls were calm, frizz-free, shiny and hydrated; thanks to the rosemary and seaweed extracts. After washing, I used Tara Smith Base Coat Serum ($26) to fight frizz and  Shining Moment Glosser ($18) finishing spray - a color-safe alternative to Jojoba Oil that moisturizes your scalp and provides unbeatable, show-stealing shine.
