Any event invite where skincare and cake are mentioned in the same sentence, you surely don't have to ask me twice if I will attend - it's a given: best of both worlds! RoC Skincare hosted a fun interactive event on Thursday at the Glass Houses NYC, to introduce the launch of the NEW RoC® SMOOTH PERFEXION® Instant Line Corrector. You're probably wondering what role cake decorating could possibly have, in a skincare launch and it's pretty simple (not to mention fun and yummy - so keep reading.) Another cute detail at the event? We were greeted with RoC aprons, embroidered with our names to use and take home. Talk about having your cake and eating it too!

This apron was the icing on the cake!

Renowned cake designers from Betty Bakery in Brooklyn were on hand to with pre-iced mini cakes to give us cake decorating tips (so much fun), along with a global scientist from Johnson & Johnson. They explained that each layer of cake is very similar to our skin, so just like fondant smooths a cake perfectly, RoC® SMOOTH PERFEXION® Instant Line Corrector, formulated with patented copper-zinc technology improves the look of skin so that makeup becomes optional (I like that!) This new lightweight product bridges the gap between skincare and cosmetics, to deliver beautifully smooth and visibly firm skin in one easy step.

So I've only been using this product 3 days and I can honestly say that I love how silky smooth this serum feels on my skin. I really don't wear much make-up (never ever use foundation) other than mascara and lipstick/gloss, so of course I was thrilled when I heard this product was on the market. Usage & Directions: Use alone on clean skin or over your regular moisturizer to complement your skincare routine.
