This past mid-July, I had the pleasure of attending a private event for Elizabeth Arden's new Flawless Future , three new breakthrough products powered by Ceramide, for skin compromised by STRESS! What took me so long? Well its no secret that skincare is important to me and I like to test products thoroughly before giving my input, but after a month of test-driving Flawless Future, my skin and I are ready! I wasn't feeling too well the day of this event, but nothing could keep me away from Elizabeth Arden to lean about the Flawless Future: Caplet Serum ($60), Moisture Cream (also available in SPF30 - $50) and Ceramide eye Gel ($40)

Held at SIXTY Loft at Sixty LES, the view was amazing as was the presentation by Aurelie Felix, Elizabeth Arden's Research & Development Expert. We learned that we are the "Generation Stress" and we age quicker due to our careers, families, passions and busy schedules - all factors that cause signs of aging to show on our faces and unfortunately ages us faster than chronological aging can. How? Stress decreases skins barrier function, antioxidant levels, cell turnover, irritates skin, depletes ceramides and damages telomeres (caps at the end of chromosomes, whose primary function is to prevent our DNA 'fraying' as cells replicate.) It's easy to spot stress damage on your skin, just look for uneven texture, redness, dullness, fine lines. Stress can accelerate aging up to 10 years and at 37, I am NOT trying to hear that!

Elizabeth Arden's Flawless Future collection is lightweight, silky and non-comedogenic and your skin feels instantly cool with each application. Signs of stress are visibly removed within six weeks but my skin felt and look rejuvenated after two days (I made sure to test after a week of very little sleep and not feeling well.) My skin softened, brightened felt re-energized and looked stress-free. Just what I needed after my insanely hectic schedules, no sleep (a must for me) and feeling sick. See for yourself:

Flawless Future Powered by Ceramide Caplet Serum ($60) - Formulated with Elizabeth Arden's proprietary Ceramide support Telosense and skin smoother/brighteners. Also contains MICRO-CAPLETS, which contain a second skin protective matrix that when dispenses, bursts to activate the powerful ingredients within the serum. To use: Apply a single pump to your forhead, cheeks and chin, morning and night before moisturizer.

Flawless Future Powered by Ceramide Moisture Cream SPF 30 ($50) - Lightweight, easily absorbed and non comedogenic that intensely hydrates and brightens your skin. SPF 30 provides skin with UVA/UVB broad spectrum sun protection. Contains a hydrating complex of rice kefiran (a rice polysaccharide proven to improve hydration), glycerin and shea butter. pearlescent pigments and mica (to put your complexion in its most flattering light!) To use: apply generously to your face and neck. 

Flawless Future Powered by Ceramide Eye Gel ($40) - A powerful brightening eye gel that fights the appearance of stress and fatigue around the eyes, giving you an instant, wide-awake look. Formulated with Vitamin E, algae extract complex that targets puffiness and dark circles, your eyes will not only look better with fine lines visibly reduced, but feel refreshed. Ophthalmologist tested, safe for sensitive skin and contact lens wearers (I wear contacts and this worked great for me!) To use: gently pat the cooling gel around the eye area contour, concentrating on the outer corners.
