EVENT: SUNGLASS HUT, LENSCRAFTERS & THE COUNCIL OF FASHION DESIGNERS OF AMERICA

4TH ANNUAL DESIGN SERIES: Charlotte Ronson for
Vogue Eyewear available at Sunglass Hut & LensCrafters
It's no secret that I love eyewear, they're my ultimate "facial fashion accessory!" By now I have over 20 pairs of Rx opticals and even more sunglasses, which I change depending on my mood or outfit. On January 22nd, I attended the 4th annual Design Series for Vogue Eyewear at Gramercy Park Terrace, with participating designer Charlotte Ronson! Inspired By Global Brand Ambassador Eva Mendes. The collection is already available exclusively at LensCrafters and Sunglass Hut!

Venue: Gramercy Park Terrace, NY

Best known for her trendsetting style and her love for creating fun, accessible, downtown-chic apparel, Charlotte Ronson is the perfect balance of fashion sensibility and effortless cool that is Vogue Eyewear. Influenced by the beautiful and talented Eva Mendes, the special edition frames capture the actresses’ softer side with girly touches of scallop detail, delicate floral prints and pastel hues. The sunglass style will retail for $129.95 exclusively at Sunglass Hut and Sunglasshut.com , while the eyeglass style will retail for $139.95 exclusively at LensCrafters. The collection will then become available in select global markets starting in March.

Charlotte’s twin sister Samantha Ronson played a special DJ set and was joined by Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship for an impromptu sing-along that turned into an all-out dance party. Attending friends and supporters also included: Ann Dexter-Jones, Nicky and Barron Hilton, Fern Mallis, Alexi and Ariel Ashe, Timo Weiland, Mara Hoffman, Dani Stahl, and Eleanor Yivisaker.

I for one had a BLAST at this event. Aside from the buffet of eyewear, juice bar featuring Charlotte's favorite juices and a Polaroid station, you were also able to get a customized beanie. Check out hashtag #DesignSeries on Instagram and Twitter, to see even more amazing pics from that night.

Guess what mine said? But of course!
