Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Black Lip Stain

OCC "Little Black Dress" Lip Tar Stained Gloss

I tend to wear my lips nude, somewhat "sheer" (bold red on rare occasions) so when OCC launched "Little Black Dress" ($18 .33 oz., a sheer glossy black) on Black Friday, I wasn't too interested initially, thinking to myself "I can't wear this to the office...? Well, I was wrong.

For someone who rarely paints her pucker, I was surprised as how good OCC's Lip Tar Stained Gloss (not lip tar) looked on me. My lips had a sheer dark tint, but not pure black, which can go darker depending how much you apply.

As always, OCC products are 100% Vegan, CRUELTY-FREE, Gluten-Free, Paraben-Freecontains organic Hemp Oil & Soy-Derived Vitamin E, giving you a finish that feels as good as it look, thanks to refreshing Peppermint Oil. I'm not new to OCC Liptars (see my past reviews on BeautyStat here: ModernCraft, Stained Gloss & Sci-Fi Lullabies) so trust me when I say that a little definitely goes a long way!

Dab, spread....

...goes on sheer, with a "hint of tint!"

What are lip tarsA liquid matte lipstick with unparalleled pigment intensity and wear time. Lip Tar: Stained Gloss are OCC's latest texture innovation for lips, which combine the color saturation of a Lip Tar™, with a casual glossy, ready-to-wear finish that gives you high impact stain! Only the smallest amount is needed for opaque coverage: just 2-3 dots on each lip, spread with your pinky finger, or the enclosed #010S short-handled Precision Lip Brush and viola! Long-wearing and your lips feel super hydrated and minty. You end up with high-impact shine, long-lasting color and super hydrated, minty lips!
